I've found that sometimes when I learn too many techniques and try to implement them, it can be detrimental because time is so important; every decision takes time and it can be very difficult to think quickly enough to achieve a positive effect from solving in less moves: if I do a solve in 56 moves, but my tps (Turns Per Second) is 5, It would end up taking longer than solving it in 80 moves with a tps of 9. The perfect balance between the 2 is what I should aim for.
